I was blessed to have two partners in the stocking swag swap!!! My second partner was the fabulous Margie Romney-Aslett!!! She requested an old gold color palette. So for her stocking I chose the same base fabric as the first stocking I sewed, and added gold silk for the cuff, and some vintage gold trim. I decorated the stocking with burlap, a gold and silver rhinestone necklace, and some fun flowery trim. Topping the whole thing off is a golden glittery M!!! It was so much fun to create this stocking, that was a definite departure from my normal color palette.
I filled the stocking with lots of fun... including an initial mug from anthropologie, and some Godiva hot chocolate... How can you ever go wrong with Godiva and Anthro??? I made her a little bookpage tree ornament inspired by this one from Anthropologie. It was super easy and so fun... I ended up making several for myself. (I'll share those with you tomorrow). It was such a blast to take part in this swap, that a bunch of us have already decided to do it all over again for Valentines day!!!! I can hardly wait!!!!
